Well, we have another neat little feature for you guys to use. I'm not sure how many of you are using Google Android Devices or iPhones, but there is a neat little app called "Tapatalk". This app essentially allowed you to browse our forums in a more integrated way that's native to your phones OS. This means you don't need the browser, you can just use this app to use all the features of vBulletin! It's a great way to always stay connected and up-to-date on the latest here at FPSDev. Just wanted to let you know all know what I have been working on with one of our developers for the downloads system. We are using DownloadsII as a base for our downloads system which by default is pretty nice. But we want to add our own special touch to this bad boy. So we have been adding some great new features. Here is the list of things we are working on and their progress:

*Note: The features have not been applied to production yet until they are all 100% completed and tested!

• Adding a new ratings system based on letter grades. - 100% Completed
• Adding the new ratings to the file listing and making it sortable - 100% Completed
• Adding the number of times a file has been rated to the file list and file view. - 90% Completed
• Ability to add images to downloads BEFORE posting the file, not after. - 0% Completed
• Ability to add the number of spawn points within a map. - 0% Completed
• Ability to subscribe to downloads in order to be alerted of changes and comments. - 0% Completed
• Add new downloads to the "What's New" tab when searching. - 0% Completed

Hey Folks,

A new addition to the site is the ability to thank users for their input or great feedback. This is a great way to show appreciation to each other and promote giving quality feedback and suggestions to each other.

Also, I am not sure if you all have noticed, a new category has been added to the Tutorial section called "Server Management". Feel free to post your words of wisdom for new users who are inexperienced running a game server. Thanks for helping make FPSDev and a great place to be!

Well, we tried using a new download system and to be honest it seemed like a great idea, but it did not work to plan. It wasn't as advanced as we originally thought and it had so many bugs it was virtually unusable. So, we are back with our original Downloads section and made some visual changes to it. Hopefully you all like and begin adding files. Enjoy!
